When storms hit and basements flood laminate flooring doesn't fare well. This basement had to have some of the laminated flooring removed and replaced after the water seeped underneath and the seams swelled.
Usually when laminate flooring gets wet it will never go back to the way it was before and must be replaced during the restoration process in order to dry the underlying structure. In the case of this picture only the affected flooring was removed in order to get the structure dried as soon as possible so reconstruction could begin.
